Yearly family pictures is something I think everyone should do. Kids change so much year to year and it’s the perfect time to experience a family session together where you get to reconnect with each other and be reminded that each member of your family is an important one. I love to capture families being themselves, acting silly and letting loose, but I also love those more serious poses where you can really feel the love you have for one another.

The images that I get from family sessions make the perfect addition to your wall gallery. To me, when I walk in a home and see a wall filled with pictures from all your special moments – like your wedding, vacations, maternity photos, newborn and milestone pictures, holiday photos and then family portraits – it really feels like a loving home. It’s also proven that when kids see pictures of themselves as a family unit, it gives them confidence and a sense of belonging.
