Newborn Session | Baby Ethan | Palm Beach Gardens Newborn Photographer
Introducing baby Ethan! This sweet little boy was just a little over a month old when I went to Palm Beach Gardens for his newborn session.
Palm Beach Gardens Newborn Session
Usually, when I’m photographing a newborn session, I try to schedule the baby very soon after they are born, while they are still tiny and sleepy. But Ethan was actually born 3 weeks early, so he was still so little and did amazingly well. Mom and Dad had contacted me just after he was born, so I’m glad we were able to schedule a session for them while he was still such a little thing!
Ethan is Mom and Dad’s first little one. I try to make this process as easy as possible, especially for new parents, which is why I cater to my clients by coming to them to do newborn sessions in their homes. But even with the excitement of becoming a new family of three hanging in the air, these two were so easy to work with! They trusted my vision and let me do my thing, but they also came with an idea of what they wanted and some cute outfits to use.
I did a variety of poses in the outfits and then with little Ethan both wrapped and naked. I loved that he was bald with just a little bit of hair, because it reminded me so much of what my son looked like when he was born! I couldn’t help but want to turn back the clock so I could relive those days. That’s the whole point of newborn photography, after all—you want to preserve those moments and cherish them so you can relive them when you’re struck with feelings like that!
I was able to capture a slight smile—I love when babies this young give you those gummy little quirks!—and got the sweetest picture of Ethan in my little bed prop with his lips squished together. Who doesn’t love cute little back rolls? I can’t get enough of them! Plus, the bed prop is a client favorite!
Florida Family Photography
After we had plenty of shots of Ethan, I got some parent shots of the little guy with his mom and dad. And I truly enjoyed chatting with Ethan’s grandmother while I worked. I love when the whole family is involved to show their love and support as the family expands!
Marni & Michael, thank you for allowing me into your home to capture these pictures of your beautiful baby boy! I know he is lucky to be surrounded by so much love!
